The church is open for drop-in visits and has a pop-up cafe serving tea/coffee/squash on Thursday mornings and currently where possible, Saturday mornings and also before and after the mid-day Wednesday and Sunday morning services. We also have easy access toilets with extra wide electronically operated doors. There are no restrictions to access, as the church is not a membership organisation and no charge is made for visits and tours (although donations are encouraged).
Publicity of activities and events is via exterior notice boards, on the porch notice board, leaflets in church and the church website: http://www.stedmundsdudley.org.uk which contains contact details. External booking enquiries are considered by the church council on merit and hire charges may be set to cover heating, caretaking and administration costs rather than generate a profit or income.
The church offers informative guided tours for organised groups, and has before covid welcomed a number of historical local history societies and others to the church, usually with refreshments to follow.
A ‘welcome’ area with tables and chairs is being further upgraded shortly. Enquiries to jjonharcourt@blueyonder.co.uk
