Heritage fund

The congregation of St Edmund, King & Martyr, are delighted to announce the end of the first phase of works to our 1724 Grade 2* church has been completed and a Project Evaluation has been presented, submitted and accepted by the National Heritage Lottery Fund. Our thanks to everyone for the help and guidance have received from inception to completion.

Congratulations to HLF for 25 years work, and we welcome the new logo which we will be proudly displaying for all to see.

As well as a place of worship, we have been an important part of Dudley Town centre for hundreds of years, and welcome casual visitors or groups for organised tours.

Patronal Festival

Mark Wisbey reports:

St. Edmund’s was packed with worshipers at our Patronal Festival on Wednesday 20th November 2019.  Photographs can be seen on the Additional Curates Society website: https://www.additionalcurates.co.uk/gallery/acsvisits.php#album-588

After our Patronal Festival, some of our helpers ready to help with the clearing up. Notice the Heritage Lottery Board – the brand new Heritage Fund Logo soon to be added.
