November issue of the Parish Magazine

EPSON MFP image

The November issue of the parish magazine is now available in printed form at the church. This month the printed version is ahead of the web version. The various dates etc on the pages on the web site have already been updated, and the copy of the magazine here on the web site will be loaded in the next few days, so watch this space.

UPDATE: The full version of the magazine is now available on the web site – just click on the image of the magazine above to access it.

Adverts on this site

We originally used a ‘free’ service when this web site was set up, and a consequence was that you may have seen advertisements (over which we had no control). The advantage of the free site facility was that it obviously saved money, but we have now upgraded so that adverts should not appear in future. This has been done, thanks to an anonymous supporter, without any cost at present to the church.

2017 Calendars

Supplies of the calendar for 2017 were delivered this morning (12th October) – they were only ordered on 10th! Once again we have both a desk and a  wall calendar (other versions, and also potentially other things, are available too!). They are available at the church now. All proceeds from sales of the calendars go to the church. The desk calendars are priced at £5.00 each, and the wall calendars at £7.50 each.

[Thanks to Vistaprint for the amazingly quick service and very reasonable prices, and to DPD for the quick, timed, delivery.]

Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival will be celebrated at St Edmund’s at the 11 o’clock service on 9th October. Please bring items suitable for the Food Bank, i.e. tinned, dried and packet goods; the Food Bank always has a lot of stuff passed on at this season, but they rely on this, and donations throughout the year.
