We had an excellent talk by Craig Denston ‘My Life as a Ghost’ on Tuesday 27th September. Craig has been a leader of the Dudley Ghost Tour for many years, and his talk also gave an great insight into his mask-making activities. After the talk there was a fish & chip supper in the church – both the talk and the supper were greatly enjoyed by all!
Harvest Festival will be celebrated on Sunday 9th October at the 11 o’clock service.
Please bring items suitable for the food bank, that is tinned and dried and packet goods. The food bank always has a large amount of stuff passed on at this season 0f harvest festivals, and rely on it to keep them going throughout the year.
I’m sure that donations to the food bank are also welcome at other times.
Gerald’s body will be received into St Edmund’s on Wednesday 12th October at 6pm.
The funeral will be on Thursday 13th October at 11:15pm.
